Modern Warfare 2 is the new iteration of the legendary Call of Duty franchise, and with the game soaring in beta, there's plently of weapons for players to use.
Along with weapons, there's some returning perks/field upgrades and one of these is Dead Silence.
However, a new change to the animation has players concerned with the field upgrades useage within the game!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Players Aren't Happy With New Dead Silence
Dead Silence has been an iconic perk within the COD franchise for as long as we can remember, and it's been essential in certain game modes for staying silent around the map.
However, with the release of Modern Warfare 2's beta, they've implemented it within the Field Upgrade section instead of the perks page.
As well, when players use it, an animation plays out, and an audible noise plays near you, indicating to enemies near you that you've just used Dead Silence.
This is where players aren't too happy with the changes, as there isn't really any need to use the perk, mainly due to the fact that players are still able to hear you, and can tell when you've used it.
Twitter user MichaelBuckle17 noted how MW2 is "somehow worse than Vanguard" and other users have noted "and that is how you ruin Dead Silence."
Be sure to let us know how you feel about the recent changes to Dead Silence.
Not only did they add an animation while activating Dead Silence, but there’s a loud sound cue on the enemies end too.. pic.twitter.com/XWG11zkSmc— CDL Intel (@intelCDL) September 25, 2022
