Now, with the game fully revealed to fans, we're still wondering how the new Gulag works within Warzone 2.

Here's what you need to know!

Does Warzone 2 Have A Gulag? New Gulag System Explained

The Gulag is your second chance to get back into the action within Warzone. Once players get eliminated to someone, they spawn within the Gulag and would go up against another person in order to earn their life back.

While the system returns in Warzone 2, it seems that they're changing it up quite a bit for the next iteration for their battle royale.

Within Warzone 2, players will be able to still dive into the Gulag, but instead, they'll be pitted in a 2v2 matchup were you'll need persice aim with your gaming mouse, and have another method to get out besides just eliminating their enemies.

This comes in the form of 'The Jailer,' which is a key around the Gulag map that you can find in order to escape.

Infinity Ward described the new Gulag as the following.

This isn’t your commanding officer’s Gulag: This is a livefire training complex as well as a prison, where foes need to be neutralized, and sometimes… partnered with? You’re dropped into a multi-level arena with only your fists, and a plan to loot, shoot, and win a decisive 2v2 battle before you’re allowed back into the big map for a second chance at victory. Optionally, your Gulag combat can include searching for an AI combatant known as “The Jailer”, dropping him, and using his key as the means of escape. Don’t forget to loot as you go; that gear comes with you if you win.
