Overwatch 2 is releasing soon worldwide, and with Blizzard shutting down the servers for the original Overwatch soon, players are finally getting into the groove for the new release.
However, with OW2 releasing, you'll want to get ahead of the game and pre-install the game before launch so you can dive in right away.
Here's how to pre-load Overwatch 2!
How To Pre-Load Overwatch 2
Pre-installing a game is rather common these days, as it allows you quickly boot the game up when it goes live, and in Overwatch 2's case this will be at 3:00 pm EST on October 5th, 2022.
So, one thing to keep in mind is that only pre-exsisting players and ones who've purchased the Watchpoint Pack will be able to pre-load the game.
So, head over to Battle.net which is the client that Overwatch uses, and if you already have OW1 installed press the gear icon and check for updates if you don't already have automatic updates on.
This should install Overwatch 2, and if it doesn't work, then try uninstalling the game and doing it again, you'll know if you've got this right if the green text saying "Pre-released content downloaded" appears.
