Our Easy Shift technology is available on our new line of Vulcan II keyboards, including the Vulcan II Max and Vulcan II Mini.

If you're unaware how you can use this ROCCAT feature on our new gaming keyboards we're going to show excatly how to do it!

Here's how to use Easy Shift on the Vulcan II Mini and Vulcan II Max.

What Is Easy Shift?

Easy Shift is a technology that can be unlocked via our Swarm Software. The function allows you to unlock an additional layer of functions, by creating a secondary function for the standard keys when active.

How To Use Easy Shift On The Vulcan II Keyboards

To use Easy Shift, you'll need to download our Swarm Software here.

Once you've downloaded the software and installed it to your PC, you'll need to set up your Easy Shift functions.

Open up Swarm and head to the Key Assignment tab and you'll see a list of functions and your keyboard on the right.

Click the button you wish to assign a secondary function to on the keyboard.

The primary and secondary functions will be listed underneath.

Find an already assigned function (or create your own Macro) and drag it on to the Easy Shift Function.

Press Apply and this will update the Easy Shift Function for that key.

To use Easy Shift on your keyboard, simply hold the FN key and press the Windows key to activate Game Mode.

Once you’re in game mode, hold down the Caps Lock (set by default) or the button with the + sign in brackets and you’ll see your keyboard light up in an alternate colour indicating that you are accessing the second layer of key functions.

If you're unsure which button Easy Shift is assigned to, go to the 'ROCCAT Functions' tab under Functions and hover over Easy Shift[+].
