Theres been a lot of speculation into the type of COD the next Call of Duty is going to be, and it appears a lot of rumors are pointing towards Modern Warfare 2.
With this said, we know some information surrounding the game and the type of game modes we'll see later this year.
But, new tweets have noted that we're going to be getting a brand new Attackers and Defenders gamemode!
New Attackers and Defenders Game Mode
While at first, this appears just like a regular Search and Destroy game mode, Twitter user RalphsValve has noted some news pertaining to the mode.
They noted that on the attacking side "Each player is assigned a role per a general vote, with one nominated Team Leader. Between each passing round, all teams will be given a Debrief period - allowing for roster reform."
While on the defensive side "To methodise a plan to slow down, or entirely halt the Attackers; utilising hidden locations, boobytraps and cameras ⁃ Destruction plays a major role - you’ll be able to fortify, and defend the positioned objective."
So essentially, this game mode sounds pretty alike to Rainbow Six Siege, and a lot of fans are amped for it.
So, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out, as CODs gunplay is vastly different than the one in R6 at this moment!
