Overwatch 2 has now released worldwide, and Blizzard's latest entry into the series has improved in all aspects compared to it's original release.

A big aspect of OW has been heroes, and with the latest one coming on the release of the game in the form of Kiriko, there's been questions into how strong she is.

Well, players are also wondering when she'll be playable in Competitive, and we have a general idea of when this will happen!

When Is Kiriko Coming To Overwatch 2 Competitive

The newest Support hero has been quite the rave within Overwatch 2, as her kit has been one of the best we've seen in quite some time, and Kiriko has often been compared to Moria.

With her DPS/Healing hybrid combination of utility, players are itching to use her in Competitive, and Blizzard has unfortuantly locked her within the game mode for now.

However, it seems they're going back to the old formula that they used to use when they released new heroes, and veteran players will know what we're talking about.

So, in terms of Kiriko, we can expect to use her in Competitive starting on the week of October 18th, 2022, just around two weeks after OW2 released!
