One of the most historic franchises of all time, World of Warcraft has been implementing new content for over two decades at this point in time.

With Dragonfight being the new DLC, the second season of content is right around the corner.

However, the new patch, Embers of Neltharion is soon here, and we're going to runover all the new additions in WoW.

Blizzard has revealed new details surrounding the next major patch of World of Warcraft Dragonflight, which is going to introduce the launch of Embers of Neltharion, along with more exciting content.

As well, Dragonflight Season 2 and the new Mythic+ rotation will be coming on May 9, so keep your eyes peeled.

In terms of the new content, here's what players can expect.

Zone Preview: Uncover the Mysteries of Zaralek Cavern

Muster your courage as you continue your adventure through the Dragon Isles and pursue your enemies into the dangers of the Zaralek Cavern. Make New Allies in Zaralek Cavern

While Raszageth has been defeated, the Primalists carry on in their bid to unravel all the Titans have wrought and must forge new alliances–or rekindle old ones. As the heroes of Azeroth pursue enemies into the dangers of Zaralek Cavern, they are aided by the local inhabitants found under the Dragon Isles — the molefolk known as Niffen and the Drogbar. They may not know much of the surface wars, but their knowledge of the underground is key to players and their allies finding their footing within.

Play With More Friends with Cross-Faction Guilds

FYRAKK ASSAULTS

Fyrakk’s forces are gathering resources at Suffusion Camps located in the Azure Span and Ohn’ahran Plains. It’s up to the heroes of Azeroth to disrupt their efforts to lure Fyrakk and his disciples out. Fyrakk Assaults will become available alongside Dragonflight: Season 2 the week of May 9.

Character Customization Updates

Express yourself with 4 new eye colors and 4 new hair colors for Nightborne and 4 new skin tones and 4 new hair colors available for Dark Iron Dwarves.

Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Raid Preview

Breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory hidden within Zaralek Cavern. It is here that he created the dracthyr and ultimately succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods and their corruption. Players will face nine new raid bosses in an effort to thwart the incarnates as well as Scalecommander Sarkareth, whose forces seek to claim the legacy of the dracthyr. • Week of May 9: Raid Finder Wing 1, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties will open with the weekly maintenance for each region
• Week of May 23: Raid Finder Wing 2 opens
• Week of June 6: Raid Finder Wing 3 opens
• Week of June 20: Raid Finder Wing 4 opens

Conquer the Challenges of Dragonflight Season 2 on May 9

Dragonflight Season 2 is coming soon, bringing a new raid, an updated rotation of challenging Mythic+ dungeons, and a new PvP Season. This season will also feature familiar exclusive rewards such as the Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge achievements for raids, Keystone Master achievements, rewards for Mythic+, and Gladiator rewards for PvP.
